Kremstal dac
Grüner Veltliner
2020

The Ried Kremser Thurnerberg slopes to the southwest and lies on a gravel terrace. Dominated by crystalline quartz rock, supplied by the primeval danube, deposited about 2 million years ago, a high plateau was formed, which lies more than 100m above the 1000-year-old wine town of Krems & the today ́s course of the Danube.

Wine Description

Yellow apple and date around smoked bacon coat. Mineral salty tobacco notes. Finely polished structure. Conveys comprehensibly the rock on which the old vines stand. Dense and compact with international style and very great storage potential.

Dining Recommendation

The Diplomat, which goes well with a variety of dishes: pink roasted meat
and strong sauces, asparagus with hollandaise, shellfish and seafood, with pasta carbonara, a fine combination with salmon steak with fennel-orange sauce and hard and semi-hard cheeses or cheese fondue.

Levels of Origin

The SINGLE VINEYARD WINES distinguishes the highest quality of Austrian vineyards. The vineyards are demarcated exactly. This is where the best wines with expressive vineyard character and particular maturation potentiale ripen. Grüner Veltliner & Riesling with DAC Kremstal and Reserve are planted to fit to the particular vineyard.
