The Ried Kremser Frechau vineyard forms a ridge running from west to east. The vine-yards are situated on multi-storey loosening terraces, which can be up to 20 metres deep, and face south-east. In this way, our vines already receive direct sunlight at sunrise.

Wine Description

Hints of tobacco on the nose, complemented by ripe pineapple and pears; develops a nice powerful spice on the palate, walnut and honeydew melon on the finish. Velvety fine-mesh palate feel with loosening spiciness. A great wine with great cellaring potential.

Dining Recommendation

Risotto with shrimps and parmesan and with fine sweetbreads; also with mushroom dishes, roasted saddle of veal with Zöhrer walnut pesto, spicy dishes with wild herbs, pink roasted meat with strong sauce, mature cheese.
