Ried Kapuzinerberg
Kremstal dac
Grüner Veltliner
2020

The Ried Kapuzinerberg is a south/southwest opened Kesselweinberg. The terraced subsoil consists of calcareous conglomerate with crystalline quartz rock of the Urdonau. On top of this lies in places a more than 25m thick layer of loess, which allows our old vines a deep root network anchored in the origin.

Wine Description

Tropical hints of grapefruit & lime developed, with a little air a mineral, fine melt that perfectly integrates the fragrant exoticism. Taut spice of white pepper and yellow fruits, this Grüner Veltliner is a great representative of a Lössterrassen Veltliner with very good storage potential.

Dining Recommendation

Delicious with melon with ham, mushroom dishes, dishes with stronger sauces, also an interesting companion to fresh cheese and blue cheese; a fine combination classic hauerjause and spicy dishes such as spaghetti aglio e olio, possibly even peppered with a little pepperoni.

Levels of Origin

The SINGLE VINEYARD WINES distinguishes the highest quality of Austrian vineyards. The vineyards are demarcated exactly. This is where the best wines with expressive vineyard character and particular maturation potentiale ripen. Grüner Veltliner & Riesling with DAC Kremstal and Reserve are planted to fit to the particular vineyard.
